Martin’s Day celebration at our hotel

On the weekend of November 16th, our hotel will be all about wine and gastronomy. Enjoy Martin’s Day with carefree relaxation!

From 4 pm begins the new wine tasting in the hotel bar with wines from the Vincellér House in Sopron, where our guests can taste mouth-watering snacks too. While the parents tasting quality wines, the kids can try out craft activities related to Autumn and Martin’s Day in the children’s playroom. During the evening, the kids can attend on the handcrafted lantern parade and on the mini awards gala too.

The Martin’s Day buffet dinner starts at 5:30 pm with delicious meals.

From 7 pm the Daniel Berkes (piano) – Luca Mihály (vocals) duo performs at the bar.

Cold starters

  • Goose Galantine with roast seeds
  • Garlic goose liver pate with thyme onion jam
  • Goose greaves with lilac onion rings
  • Stuffed goose neck
  • Goose rillettes with green peas and primers
  • Goat- and cow cheese selection
  • Home-made pickled vegetables, salad bar

Soups

  • Goose broth with noodles and vegetables
  • Mushroom soup with ginger and pearl barley

Warm dishes

  • Crunchy goose haunch with steamed cabbage and apples
  • Goose porridge with liver, gizzard and root-vegetables
  • Boar ragout with parsley-potato dumplings
  • Coated pork loin slices in Panko crumbs
  • See fish filet with rice-milk sauce, spinach and almonds

Vega

  • Tagliatelle with pumpkin, oyster mushroom and parmesan
  • Polenta with ruccola and fried vegetables

For the children

  • Chicken bites with potato puree
  • Fine-cut noodles with tomato

Side dishes

  • Steamed rice
  • Potatoes mashed with goose fat
  • Cauliflower in bacon
  • White beans with parsley and garlic

Desserts
